Hoi Polloi has been trading since 1997. Our original shop is in Surbiton. It is managed by me. We also have a shop in Claygate, Surrey, which opened in November 2009 This shop is managed by my partner Gary. Our online shop, which you are browsing in now, went live in May 2010. Our mission is to provide beautiful gifts, clothes and furniture for people and their homes. We sell over 500 different items. In addition, our shops, particularly our Surbiton branch, also sell a large selection of cards and wrap. We also sell several ranges of womenswear, especially dresses and shoes. We currently only sell a few of our womenswear items online. However, it has been so successful that we are planning to do much more. Keep looking!

         We have a reputation for excellent customer service, providing beautiful products at very reasonable prices.  Our stock is constantly being replaced by new items and we sometimes find it a challenge to keep our website completely up to date with such new products. Thus, this online shop is not a substitute for regularly visiting our two Surbiton and Claygate stores. Please look at the Contact Us page for details on how to find us.
